Privacy Policy

When you complete a form on this website, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include your first and last name, email address, mobile phone number, state, project or financing need type, and any description you enter.

We also record the date and time of your submission and may collect basic technical and source-attribution information such as the page URL you submitted from, the referring website, and campaign parameters (for example, utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term).

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, to contact you about your financing request, to learn more about your project, to discuss potential next steps, to maintain internal records, and to operate, improve and secure our website and services.

Submitting a form does not create a loan application, an approval, a prequalification, a commitment to lend or an offer of credit.

How we collect mobile numbers. We collect a mobile phone number only when you voluntarily provide one. Providing a mobile number is optional. You may submit any form on this website without providing a phone number, and we will respond to you by email.

How SMS consent is obtained. Consent to receive text messages is given only by checking a separate, optional checkbox on our form. That checkbox is never pre-checked, and you may submit the form without checking it. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, loan, or service.

Providing a mobile number is not consent. Giving us your phone number does not by itself opt you in to text messages. We treat the phone number and the SMS consent as two separate things, and we do not send marketing or follow-up text messages to a number unless the consent checkbox was affirmatively checked.

Phone verification is not consent. We may offer to send you a one-time verification code by text to confirm that a phone number belongs to you. That code is a transactional message sent at your request. Requesting or receiving a verification code does not opt you in to marketing or follow-up text messages, and we do not treat a completed verification as SMS consent.

What we send. If you consent, Ashton & Associates LLC may text you regarding your financing inquiry, including follow-up about your request, loan program information, appointment scheduling and reminders, and responses to questions you have asked us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You may also opt out by replying with any other reasonable request to stop, or by contacting us using the details at the end of this policy. Reply HELP for assistance. We honor opt-out requests received through any reasonable method, not only the word STOP.

We do not share your mobile information. Mobile information and SMS consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text message originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except with the service providers strictly necessary to deliver the messages you have asked to receive, such as our customer relationship management platform and our SMS delivery provider. Those providers may use the information only to deliver the service to us.

Records we keep. When you consent to receive text messages, we record the phone number, the date and time of consent, the exact disclosure language you were shown, a version identifier for that language, and the web address where consent was given. We keep these records specifically as proof of consent, and we retain them for as long as we message you and for a reasonable period afterward in order to demonstrate that consent was properly obtained.

Contacts we do not text. We do not treat the presence of a phone number in our records, membership in a previously acquired or imported contact list, a prior business relationship, or any historical tag as current consent to receive text messages. Contacts whose text messaging consent we cannot verify are excluded from our text messaging programs. This applies to text messaging only. We may still contact those individuals by email, where we honor every unsubscribe request, and we continue to maintain their records for ordinary business purposes.

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may use third-party service providers to help operate our website and communications, such as hosting, form processing, customer relationship management and messaging providers. These providers may process your information only as needed to perform services for us and are expected to protect it.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transaction. We do not sell your mobile information or SMS consent, and we do not share it with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

You may decline to provide information, though some information is needed for us to respond to your inquiry. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you may ask us to stop contacting you by email. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information you submitted, subject to applicable law and our recordkeeping obligations.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
